The date of birth of the Kazakh circus is officially considered as July 24, 1970. It was on this day at the arena of the Saratov circus premiere of the first Kazakh national program “Medeo”.
The program director was Honored Artist of the RSFSR, director Georgy Perkun. The authors of the script were G. Perkun and Yu. Blagov. Designed by the deserved artist of the RSFSR A. Falkovski and Alma-Ata artist E. Kirik. Music was written by honored artists of the Kazakh SSR N. Tlendiev, L. Hamidi, D. Botbaev and Belarusian composer L. Moller.
